X-MasTree Cap is often installed on the top of the christmas tree, the tree cap is designed with standard API-UPTBG (EUE) lift thread in the body. The top plug of the tree cap has a thread for mounting a pressure gauge to measure well pressure.The Tree Caps provide access to wellhead for service and monitoring The X-mas tree cap is basically consisting of a Flanged body, Blanking Plug, Hammer Nut as principal parts and Circlip & O-ring as secondary parts
Types of the X-mas Tree cap
We have two types of x-max tree cap, the main difference is a special passing through tools OD required that makes the tree cap sealing ID special which allows the tools access. The X-max tree cap can be with hammer nut and also the steel bar operated.
