Mud Cross Alloy Steel Forging Drilling Spool API 16A 13 5/8" x 5000psi

The drilling spool is conformed with API 16A standard and made of alloy steel AISI 4130 forging. The drilling spool is the part of the wellhead assembly which are often used in the oilfield when drilling servcie. The Drilling spools are designed with same nominal end connections and the same nominal side outlet connections, the top & bottom and side end connections of drilling spool can be studded or flanged.

The drilling spool is a pressure-containing piece of wellhead equipment which is a flanged joint placed between the blowout preventer and casing head or between BOPs that serve as a spacer or crossover, the drilling spool allows safe circulation of mud and is used with Blowout Preventers to space pieces of equipment apart. It is fitted with outlets to attach lines extending to Choke and Kill Manifolds.
